This all sounds hilarious, except for the part where you are alone, in an adult video store, with drunks (sure it was your boss, but he was still a drunk) AT NIGHT! That’s a bit scary, for a guy or a girl. I would have brought a camera in to take photos of him every single time he took the money. Or hid it in a cash box somewhere else and see his reaction when the register was empty.

I also probably would come in just as well groomed as I liked, but put up a sign that the clerk is not available.

Haha, this was my post, and I never thought it would be published! It really was awful – I came in to work in varying degrees of personal hygiene to see what would happen – no, they all still wanted me.

And no, people rarely rewound their tapes. I worked there two months and wore out two VCRs because the owner was too cheap to get a rewinding machine.

Having had a friend who worked at an adult store, I believe every word of this! He was a big beefy bald 6’3″ guy with bushy eyebrows and he still had people begging him to join threesomes and screw their (never present) wives.
