And one, a self-confessed cokehead. Couldn't have been easy to endure... The point of the story is that the author was working constantly for people who were idiotic and immature. I don't like tanning either, being blessed with naturally tan skin but even if I weren't I wouldn't go to a tanning salon. It just doesn't make any sense to go there...maybe M tanned too much and it affected her brains! LOL LOL M sounds mean. Sounds like you were too mature to work there despite your age; glad you found something better. I'm the author of the tale of horror. It was a pretty insane job. As for Justine, I'm sorry to hear about your sister. I actually don't tan as much as I used to. I was getting way out of hand with it, but I still enjoy tanning. Most everyone who tans is aware of the dangers, but that doesn't make it any less tragic when someone is diagnosed with skin cancer- tanner or not. The fact of the matter is people will still do whatever they want i.e. tanning, smoking, drinking, regadless of the dangers. My story wasn't meant to hurt you, it was just MVWJ. I wish the best for your sister and your family. Hi! I’m the author of the tale of horror. It was a pretty insane job. As for Justine, I’m sorry to hear about your sister. Let her voice her opinion. The OP said she likes to tan, maybe she should heed Justines warning and the rest of you should go on with your comments. Everyone is moderating Justine, but the moderator. My best friend is dead because of a drunk driver. The point Justine? There is a time and a place. Don't upset yourself here. And to the OP, giving them the attitude made me smile. I'm so glad you burned their asses. I read on these site about drunk drivers all the time. My best friend is dead because of a drunk driver. The point Justine? There is a time and a place. I'm sorry for your tragedy, but lashing out at people for the fact that they have tanned or worked at a tanning salon isn't going to change anything. The fact that tanning causes cancer is a well known one, but you can 'help' people know it in other ways than that. My Aunt, who also has skin cancer from obsessive tanning, has fought with it for years now. I hope your sister can do it as well, I'll keep her in my thoughts. Loved the story, I wouldn't have been able to stand it for near as long!
